Sony’s new release of Mendelssohn’s piano trios is the first time the trio of Yo Yo Ma, Emanuel Ax, and Itzhak Perlman have recorded together.  Courtesy of Sony, TGN is able to give away a brand new copy of this CD to one of its readers.

There are two ways you can win this new CD.

Way one. Join the Gathering Note’s Facebook fan page. You can find the site by clicking the Facebook link in the right column or you can go here. Every new fan is automatically entered to win.

 Way two . Correctly answer one of these three questions:

1. What Orchestra was Yo-Yo Ma appointed Creative Consultant to at the end of last year?

2. What College / University is Emanuel Ax currently a teacher at?

3. What President Awarded the “National Medal of Arts” award to Itzhak Perlman?
